this is a strange one. i have always noticed it and thought quite a nice building, never investigated further. but then i noticed one day a faded nestle sign on it. and then i was doin some research on modernism at the library and i cmae across it, the old nestle building. unforch i didnt take down the details, ill get them later, but the pictures of it in the day were astonishing! it really is a nice, well proportioned high modernist piece of architecture. really nice use of an overhanging top story acting as a panal and enabled to ‘float’ thanks to the long stretch of strip wondows directly beneath. rigourous mullion control, creates a delightful rhythm, and the green fixed panels are joyous.
