These are a duplex in Cottesloe designed by Iwan Iwanoff, for the Glencsers’s in 1981.  Magnificent texturing, shaping, detailing and imagery. It fits perfectly  in the context, and has a wonderful and understated street presence. It really is amazing.

    I met a friend of Iwanoffs once, she told me that he felt quite crushed and ostracized by the majority of the architecture community – BUT WHO HAS THE LAST LAUGH NOW !!!!!

  3. Been fascinated by this building for years. Had no idea who it was by until I stumbled onto this blog and started noticing posts about similar buildings all by Iwanoff. And here it is!
