Northlands Tavern

This is the Northlands Tavern in Nollamara, designed by Silver, Goldberg and Assoc. in the early 1970s. Interesting little tavern, with a circular plan, punctuated by brick cylinders at regular intervals on the perimter walls, similar to the Baker house by Boyd. The roof structure is then telegraph poles bolted together. Internally the roof trusses are exposed, making a dramatic internal space.

  1. This would provide for considerable internal space; i like it

  2. Great place for a few quiet ones, if you like that sort of thing
